Every airbag in our inventory is inspected and verified undeployed before it is listed for sale. If it does not pass our inspection, it does not ship. That is not a policy, that is how we operate.
The airbag itself does not require programming. However, replacing the airbag alone is not sufficient to restore your vehicle's SRS system to full operation. The airbag control module may need to be replaced or reset, and all sensors should be checked and confirmed functional by a qualified automotive professional. We strongly recommend having the full installation and SRS system clearance performed by a professional.
